2020 might have not been a great a year but a lot of our local celebrities have a lot to be thankful for. This is because a lot of them had babies and some are expecting.

It has been baby fever and it looks like 2021 is going to be just as good. Whilst other people don’t have a problem with announcing their pregnancies.

Others would rather wait a few months before they announce their pregnancy. When you’re in the public eyes keeping a pregnancy a secret is very hard.

You would have to have people who don’t leak your information to the press. Which is how we got to find out about a lot of our celebrity pregnancies.

Pearl Modiadie was the first one to have her pregnancy leaked to the press by a close source. The source was true as she now has a baby boy.

It might be hard to keep things like this a secret but it can be done. This is something we saw last year with one of our local celebrities. She was able to keep her pregnancy a secret.

That would be Simphiwe Ngema. She kept her entire pregnancy a secret. She announced the news after she had given birth to her baby boy Tiyani whith whom she has with Tino Chinyani.

A lot of people where happy for her and they celebrated with her but there was others who said it was too soon as she lost her husband a few years ago.

So keeping a pregnancy a secret is always hard because baby bumps grow and when you’re in the public eyes people turn to notice even when you don’t want them to.

Only a short while ago, we heard the wonderful news that another celebrity was also expecting a baby, that would be Pebetsi Matlaila from Skeem Sami was also also expecting.

 

Her announcement was very recent. People where happy for the newly wed who had her wedding only a couple of weeks ago.

Late last year we heard that Zikhona Sodlaka had a bun in a oven. It was also said that she was trying to keep it a secret as she still in her first trimester.

Since then she has then announced the news on her social media platforms. She posted a beautiful picture of her small baby bump as it was still small.

A couple of months have passed and her baby bump is growing bigger. She has shared another beautiful picture of her baby bump on her Facebook page.

An award winning musician Bucie was remembered to day for her good music she’d been blessing us with.

It all started from a tweet which said ” Bucie once said and people flooded the comment section with their favorite verses feom any Bucie’s songs. There are some of the quoted verses from the songs. It’s good to remember someone for their good work while they are still alive.

The confusion between two media personalities Masecha Khumalo and Nomcebo Zikode continues, fans have believed that the two are siblings for quite a long time now as they can see a lot of resemblance between the two. Their fans are convinced that the two are related to each other and have been asking them if they are related, some even thought that Masechaba and Nomcebo is the same person.

The two individuals have the same hairstyle, same body and even their skin tone is the same, some people even went as far as saying they are twins or sisters. The two look alike’s relationship have been questioned a lot on social media, some are even confused who Masechaba is and who Nomcebo is when they are together on the same picture.

Bulelwa Mkutukana, popularly known by her stage name Zahara, is a very talented singer and songwriter. She started singing in her school’s choir when she was six years old, and at the age of nine she was told to join the senior choir because of her strong voice. The singer has inspired a lot of people with her music and great talent.

Zahara is one the musician who got mistreated by recording labels because of contracts that binds their relationships as a musician and producer. She faced many hardships in her life that even led to her depression and abuse of alcohol which destroyed her reputation.

Hardship is known as a condition that causes difficulty or suffering, for example, being without a job or enough money: financial/economic hardship The price of cooking gas increased five-fold, worsening the economic hardship.

Now Zahara has recovered fully from depression and she is no longer an alcoholic. She decided to take her life back and rebuild her career and herself again and she has successfully done that without any hustles. Now she is happy, things seem to be going well for her and she’s just glowing as well.

Shona has also been doing great things lately. He wrote Kings of Joburg a beautifully produced Netflix original series.

In a statement released by Netflix SA, Shona Ferguson explained why he decided to produce the series.
“When I created KINGS OF JOBURG I wanted to root the show in elements of love, family, conflict and power. The premise of the series is centered around the question, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” and this narrative is explored in all 6 episodes. The mystical and thriller side of the story is inspired by the folk tales that I grew up learning about from my late father, Peter Harry Ferguson.”

“These stories kept me up at night and gave me nightmares but I had to bring them to life in a tale of human conflict. Audiences will be surprised to learn that despite the darkness of this story, Kings of Joburg, paints a beautiful picture of the city of Johannesburg.
