Actress Connie Ferguson’s daughter has turned 21 and she took the opportunity to share her special day on social media.

Her wrote a lengthy message bubbling with so much happiness and she surely is proud of her little angel.

Connie took to Instagram to narrate the journey of Alicia’s life, starting from the day she was born until the present moment.

She narrated how she was blessed to be a mum exactly 21 years ago and how that journey has been a fulfilling one for her.


 

 

 

She is indeed proud of her offspring.

“This time 21 years ago, I had checked into Parklane Clinic, getting ready to deliver one of the best gifts God has ever given me.”

Connie took the opportunity to share her joy and delights of being a mother to Alicia Ferguson.

Connie is one of the most celebrated actors in South Africa and she has won several accolades because of her acting talent.

“As I sit here typing this, that morning is replaying in my head. The anxiety, the excitement, the anticipation! I couldn’t wait to hold you in my arms! Your dad never left my side for a moment!”

Her dad is the late actor Shona Ferguson who passed away last year.

n a recent video diary on her popular YouTube channel, Mphowabadimo, the winner of Big Brother Mzansi season 3, opened up about her pregnancy experience and the joys of becoming a mother for the second time. Just a few weeks earlier, she had excitedly announced the birth of her second son via an Instagram story. However, her journey leading up to that moment was far from easy.

Reflecting on her first trimester, Mphowabadimo revealed that she had been plagued by sickness and a sense of isolation. It was a challenging and emotionally turbulent time for her. However, she found solace in the decision to move back home and be with her family. Additionally, she enlisted the help of a doula, who provided the essential support she needed during this period. “Coming home was the perfect thing because it made me focus on my pregnancy, it made me focus on my baby, and that is when I started to look at things differently,” she shared.

The stress she experienced during the initial stages of her pregnancy had Mphowabadimo concerned about the possibility of a premature birth. She admitted that there were numerous instances when she feared for her baby’s well-being. Thankfully, she was able to deliver her child safely, which filled her with an overwhelming sense of gratitude for life. Embracing motherhood, she remarked, “Every pregnancy has taken me on a journey of its own. And with this pregnancy, above everything else, I experienced a lot of growth. I went through so many things that shaped the woman you see today. Motherhood is priceless. I enjoy every moment.”

Despite having children from different fathers, Mphowabadimo is determined to provide a happy and nurturing environment for both of her sons. Rejecting the label of a “single mother,” she proudly identifies as a “boy mom” and strives to raise her children as a strong and content woman. She expressed her desire to ensure their happiness and well-being, emphasizing her commitment to being a positive influence in their lives.

Looking to the future, Mphowabadimo shared her aspirations for a post-pregnancy reward. Considering a Brazilian butt lift as a potential “mommy makeover,” she revealed that she doesn’t envision having the time or inclination for extensive workouts. Acknowledging her preference for a more immediate transformation, she stated, “I deserve a BBL. I didn’t gain much. I didn’t lose much weight, but why can’t I look like a dream?”

Top radio station suspends two popular radio presenters

GAGASI FM broadcasters have been suspended from work and they have not been heard from the air for two weeks.

These presenters Hope Mbhele and Asante Chiliza enter from 6 to 9 am on Saturday with the program Breakfast , they also have a Sunday Chill Zone program from 2 to 6 pm on Sundays.


 

 

 

 

For the past two weeks in their programs, the presenters have been changing. Their shows were hosted by Felix Hlophe, Minnie Ntuli, Luyanda and DJ Happy Gal, although it is not clear about their suspension, but those inside the station have confirmed that they have been suspended from their services.

The Gagasi FM spokesperson Khulekani Shandu confirmed that they were taken off the air, but did not reveal the reason for their suspension. “There are things we are still finalizing about their roles. You know that the program has the way it goes and the stages that exist in it, so there is something we are still finalizing,” said Khulekani.

He said since they are busy with that these ladies will not be heard on the air. “They will be back on the air soon, but for now there will continue to be people holding back on their programs,” explained Khulekani.

He was cast in his first professional stage play called Hungry and he was later cast in Marikana the Musical. His next move is to venture into the world of voice-overs and return back to the stage.
