AKA’s family lawyer breaks the silence, following reports that the suspects are arrested

According to reports, the police tracked down the suspects who are linked to the murder of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his celebrity chef friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, sources close to the investigation said the suspects were monitored for a week before they detained on Sunday afternoon, in a shopping center in Cape Town.

 

 

 

 

 

In an interview with Sunday World on Monday, Rudolf Baloyi, the Forbes family lawyer, blasted the media reports that the killers of AKA were arrested over the weekend as false.

“No, it is not true. No suspects have been arrested in connection with my client’s murder case”. Baloyi said.

He was assisted by Western Cape police media relations officer Captain FC van Wyk, who said any questions related to investigation should be referred to KwaZulu-Natal police, because they are the ones in charge of the investigation.

KwaZulu-Natal Police spokesperson colonel Robert Netshiunda, denied the reports when he was asked for a comment, saying some had been provoked. He refuted the reports
