Music power couple, Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Madida, are celebrating five years of their marriage and they have revealed the deep secret they have had.
Although last year they dissolved their marriage after they realized that they got married accidentally into the community of property, which means that they have equal share in their estate, they later on, in the same year changed it and got married out of Community of property.
Zakes Bantwini, whose real name is Zakhele Madida (44) who is now a student at Harvard University in United States of America, and also the Executive at Universal Music while also a singer himself and also owning a recording label, Mayonie Productions, released a hit single last year. Nandi Madida, (33), is also a musician and have done incredible collobarations including KO and Zakes Bantwini himself, she is also a TV presenter.
Zakes and Nandi have two kids, Shaka and Nerfetiti and they are such a lovely family. However, many people do not know how the two met and how did they end up being married.
As they are celebrating their five years anniversary, Nandi has shared how their love began, back in the days. It is indeed a love story which has yield positive results now, at a time when many celebrities are either divorcing or separating but the Madida family have kept their love going for five years now and it is certain that they will be going for many years.
“He was the guy who was helping me. If you’ve noticed actually, my career went on a trajectory once I met him because he was guiding me,” she said according to SowetanLIVE.
Zakes Bantwini really loves his wife, no doubt about that, she means the world to him, however, he also treasurers his personal assets the more. This is why, when the Madida family realized such mistake, they quickly ammended their marriage.
“We understood incorrectly as now it appears that he would be in a position to ensure that our marriage would be out of Community of property, without the application of the accrual system,” said Zakes Bantwini in a statement talking about his lawyer.
Zakes Bantwini owns lot of assets in his name including a multi million rand house in Durban estates whereas Nandi owns the least, and should they divorce, this means that he would be losing half of his assets.
It is always a good thing to see love sparkling in the celebville and with no doubt, Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Madida are serving couple goals. They are admired by many people as they continue to love each other and hold onto each other through thin and thick.
