Uzalo, Ehostela and Durban Gen were both produced by Zuma’s daughter, Meet Gugulethu Zuma-Ncube

Zuma is a name that everyone in South Africa knows. The former president who made the last name famous has many children. He is, in fact, a father of nations. The minister of traditional affairs, Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, was one of his many wives. She gave birth to four of his children. In June 1988, they split up.

Msholozi Zuma, Gugulethu Zuma-Ncube, Nokuthula Nomaqhawe, and Thuthukile Zuma are their daughters. Gugulethu Zuma-Ncube is an actress and producer of serial TV dramas. She is married to Prof. Welshman’s son, and he is a politician in Zimbabwe. She worked with Kobedi Pokane through Stained Glass Productions to make one of the most popular dramas on sabc, Uzalo.

Gugulethu’s life seems to be going somewhere. After making Uzalo, she didn’t sit down and cross her arms. Instead, she went back to work to keep people glued to their TVs. She made the movies Efalakhe, Ehostela, and now Durban Gen, which shares viewers with Skeem Saam because it comes on at the same time, 18:30.

Zuma-Ncube also works with her sisters Nokuthula Nomaqhawe and Thuthukile Zuma to run a company called Nyenyezi Productions. As an actress, she played Lesedi Moloi on Isidingo and Zozo on Rhythm City.
