South African media personality, Boity Thulo, has topped the Twitter trends list once again, this time for being seen as a “show off”. The reality star took to Twitter on Monday, 29 June 2020 to show off her Lumma CLR RE Range Rover, which is approximately priced at R2.5 million. The image saw her car, which she named, Esther, being given a car wash, stating, “Esther’s spa day.”espite adding no connotation to her simple tweet, followers fired shots at Boity, for supposedly flaunting her car whilst people are starving. Many tweeps appealed for the star to share her wealth with them, claiming that they cannot even afford a meal right now. Others lambasted Boity for being insensitive to her followers, as they believed that it was unfair of her to show off her wealth on social media during this time. Award-winning songstress Nhlanhla Nciza, is one proud momma. This follows after her son who turned heads at his matric dance with his grand entrance, has released his single.

The young rapper’s single is titled Come Alive. Taking to Instagram Nhlanhla gushed over his son’s single, and said it is flames!

“I’m a proud momma, my sons hit single dropped on the radio today and its flames.”Clearly the music thing runs in this family, and it is beautiful to see her son carving out a career in music as well.

Another local production Generations The Legacy, has been forced to shut down production, following fears of being exposed to Covid-19.

In a leaked memo posted by Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, 2 members of the Generations team, were apparently exposed to the virus. On the first incident, the production continued but this time around it has been forced to shut down as people have been uncomfortable.

The memo says on 18 June, a member of the soapie had been in contact with a person who tested positive for the virus, but when he went to test, he tested negative.

Rapper Emtee is making some big moves as he now gears up to drop his own sneaker, yes his very own sneaker.

Emtee shared on Instagram, a few pictures of the sneaker which comes in several colours and shared the good news with his followers and fans.

“I do this for all those who doubted. My very own sneaker!!! Don’t underestimate me. MY OWN SHOES NIGGA,” shared Emtee.

The rapper seems to have taken a slight jab at fellow rapper AKA who dropped a sneaker collaboration with Reebok. In his caption, Emtee added that his sneaker is being launched with “no ambassador sh**”.

“Made from scratch with the best sole, colors and designs. @emteerecords They fear me but I never had shit in my life,” added the rapper.

Emtee worked with South African clothing brand Spelete on the shoe and thanked them for making his dream come true.
