Nadia Nakai spotted with Scorpio Siya who’s allegedly responsible for AKA’s death

Siya Mdluli known as Scorpio Siya who was AKA’s road manager has faced renewed speculation from members of the Megacy of his alleged involvement in the death of the rapper. But that hasn’t stopped those closest to the slain star like his girlfriend Nadia Nakai and his brother Steffan Forbes from publicly defending him.

Siya – the younger brother of fellow rapper K.O. was seen supporting Nadia at a gig on Friday night, her first since AKA’s death last month.

AKA and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane were shot and killed by unknown gunmen on 10 February outside a Florida hotspot in Durban. Police have yet to make any arrests. Meanwhile, “Justice for AKA” continues to be a trending topic on social media, weeks after the hitmaker’s death.

Amid criticism of AKA’s friends Scorpio Siya and Don Design who were with him on the night he died – Nadia Nakai made it her duty to show her support to them instead.

Earlier this week, AKA’s brother also seemingly defended Scorpio Siya after he was harshly criticised by Nota Baloyi. In multiple social media posts, Nota accused Siya and others of allegedly plotting to kill their friend. He even called for the police to arrest them.

But Steffan clapped back on his own Instagram account, stating that Nota had “no idea what he is talking about”.

Apart from the Megacy, Siya has also faced criticism from AKA’s Durban bodyguard Anwar “Dogg” Khan, who accused him of “breaking protocol” by

Speaking to Annika Larsen on her eTV show My Guest Tonight, the security personnel shared his views on what he believes went wrong on the night the star was murdered.

During the interview, the veteran bodyguard stated the following:

AKA’s road manager – Siya Mdluli – broke protocol by taking the rapper to Wish on Florida Road, where he was killed
The rapper had a replacement bodyguard as he was on duty with another musician
AKA did not use his usual armoured vehicle but a rental.
The hitmaker had repeatedly received threats following the death of his fiancee Nelli Tembe in 2021.
