The Mnakwethu Happily Ever After reunion has commenced for part two. Mnakwethu is a show whereby Musa Mseleku helps cheating man announce a second wife to unsuspecting partners. During the second season we met MaShelembe, MaSithole and Bheki.

Their relationship was frayed to the point of MaShelembe leaving.

This week the focus drifted to them once again and with MaShelembe insisting she wanted no part of an appearance. Musa Mseleku tried to forage peace between Bheki and his first wife but all hope seemed lost during their segment. He broached the “lobola” issue and instead of taking accountability, as per usual Bheki seemed to be running away from any fault.

He wasn’t open to discussing his wrongs, only claiming he’d given MaShelembe ultimatums that she had denied. I felt a wave of annoyance as he tried to make it seem like she wasn’t valid. She has gone through all the emotional turmoil of the world and to expect her to come back without a change in behaviour.

Personal Thoughts

I think it’s easy for Musa Mseleku to keep pushing that polygamy agenda. But it shouldn’t be at the cost of a woman’s sanity and safety. If MaShelembe has chosen to leave like she has and that should be respected. Perhaps it was destiny for them to ot be together anymore but if she is even using lawyers to get her point across, she shouldn’t be forced. I agree with viewers that she should be left alone. I hope they don’t pursue this matter further.
