Age is just a number 61-year-old actor Sello Maake ka-Ncube, finds love again with 39-year-old Pearl

ello Maake kaNcube, was born Sello Maake in the year 1960, and he is a South African actor. Sello Maake kaNcube is considered by many to be one of South Africa’s greatest and most esteemed actors and voice actors, having performed in theatre, film and television both in his native land, as well as the rest of the world in places like the United States, Britain, Canada and Europe.


Sello Maake, is best known in South Africa for his acting leading roles as Archie Moroka on the local Soapie, Generations which was and still on SABC 1. He also has made an appearance on the long-running ETV soap opera Scandal, as Lucas “Daniel” Nyathi. And for his recent role on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen, where he the role played of Kgosietsile.

The veteran actor had six children, but lost his eldest in a car accident back in 2011, at the age of 29 years old. The remaining five are Neo Tsagae, Lindo, Lerato, Onkopotse as well as Akhona. He was previously married to Palesa Mboweni back in 2013, but they called it quits after only 8 months later.

It is not all sad news for the veteran actor, as it seems as though he has found love once again. Even though there is a huge age difference between him and his new lady. Sello seems to be head over hills in love with her and the opposite is also true.

Sello Maake ka-Ncube, is currently 61 years of age, and his new bae and brand manager Solo Pearl Mbewe is 39 years old, leaving the two lovers with an age difference of 22 years. Although the two tried to keep their relationship private and out of the public eye, but it seems as though they could not hide it anymore.

According to Sunday World, the news was revealed by the former Generations actor’s friend and relative who are happy for the lovebirds. “ Sello has found himself a young woman at his retirement age and he is so madly in love with her” said the relative.
