EFF member Ringo Madlingozi ‘files for divorce’

A source told the publication that Madlingozi made the decision to file for divorce as Nyathi, 58, no longer shared the same ambitions and dreams as him.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2004, have reportedly already signed a settlement agreement stating that they will keep their respective assets and pension funds.

In April 2008, Sunday World reported that Nyathi moved out of their marital home home due to concerns about Madlingozi’s alleged relationships with other women and for not sleeping at home on several nights.

NEW MUSIC DEAL
Reports of the father-of-six’s divorce come a week after his new deal with Sony Music Entertainment which will see 13 albums from his old and new music available on streaming platforms for the first time.

Commenting on the deal, Madlingozi told Zimoja that this is what his music career needed.

“This is an exciting moment in my career, and I am really looking forward to meeting old fans and new music lovers through the music that I’ve recorded over the past 27 years and the music that’s still to come. “
