Sangomas are prominent South African celebrities who have achieved international acclaim. In recent years, being a sangoma has brought with it a certain amount of celebrity. Even while being a traditional healer is a tremendous honour, being a celebrity who is also a sangoma is not always regarded as a positive thing.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is not uncommon for South African celebrities to accept their ancestral calling and undergo ukuthwasa (spiritual emergence) training. This is especially true in the entertainment industry.

Earlier this year, Scoop Makhathini made news for all the wrong reasons when he took a dig at famous sangomas on social media. The well-known television personality slammed celebrities for pretending to be from their ancestors because it has become “fashionable” in the entertainment business to do so.

1. Mlungisi Mathe.

Mlungisi Mathe, who portrays Emkay in the Skeem Saam television series, has stated in an interview with the Daily Sun that he has answered his calling to become a sangoma and is currently pursuing his studies. He revealed in the interview that, in addition to his vocation as a sangoma, he is also a medium and a spiritualist: “I study books, the Bible, and interpret dreams and people’s trips.”

2. Masechaba Ndlovu.

Masechaba Ndlovu, a media celebrity, has accepted her ancestral calling and has also disclosed that she is a qualified sangoma, as she did in February.

Interestingly, this is not a new development, since Masechaba had already intimated in 2019 that she was embarking on an ancestral voyage.

3. Boity Thulo

Several people were shocked when Boity Thulo, a well-known rapper and brand influencer, expressed her ambition to become a sangoma. Boity Thulo shocked the world in 2016 when she disclosed that she was preparing to become a sangoma, a type of traditional medicine practitioner.

4. Kelly Khumalo.

In what appeared to be a startling disclosure, it was revealed that In 2014, a well-known Mzansi Sangoma advised Kelly Khumalo to keep her phone number secret, or else all of her future lovers would perish as a result. According to the sangoma, she would not be able to find peace unless she accepted her responsibilities.

Since then, Kelly Khumalo, a talented singer and media figure, has shared her sangoma experiences with the public. Khumalo once turned to social media to show off her regalia as well as her opinion on the issue of a sangoma, which she later deleted.

Aaron Arthur Ferguson, professionally known as Shona Ferguson, was a Botswana-born, South African actor, executive producer and co-founder of Ferguson Films, alongside his wife, Connie Ferguson. He was born on the 30th of April 1972 in Gaborone, Botswana. Ferguson died on the 30th of July 2021 in Netcare Milpark Hospital, Johannesburg, this was after being treated for Covid-19 which has lost the battle to. According to his family members he was first taken care of at home where his situation got worse and was taken to hospital, when he got there the family was told that he was recovering and they should not worry but after some time they were called and told her is worse.

He ended up being taken to Milpark where he was in intensive care until he died, the family had so much hope that he would make it out of that hospital alive but unfortunately he did not. His funeral service took place on the 4th of August 2021, members of the Ferguson family gathered to pay their last respects to late veteran actor and producer Shona Ferguson on Wednesday, with his wife Connie sharing a heart-breaking message to her husband. She expressed how she never anticipated this happening any time soon as she thought they will grow together and take turns on nursing each other, she described how they will get excited when they see an old couple at Crest a mall and say “this could be us in the next few years to come.”

His death left them shuttered, even his daughter was so broken at the funeral and you could tell how deeply hurt she was, losing a father at a very young age can be really painful. Shona and Connie Ferguson are faces to reckon with, Shona left a mark and Connie is going to carry on with their legacy alongside with their daughter Alicia who has promised her father to pick from where he left. Their fortuitous meeting 20 years ago was the culmination of this dream, which paved a way for them in producing the most loved and watched shows.

Limpopo boys accidents in Nelspruit Mpumalanga Siya Bar

Great dance from Limpopo, the goes by the name Limpopo Boyz as their stage name. They were invited to perform at Mpumalanga Nelspruit Siya Bar to celebrate the woman’s day.

 

 

 

 
A video of the insident was posted on Twitter by an Anonymous reporter showing the fall of the dancer falling from the roof during performance at Siya Bar in Nelspruit Mpumalanga.

During the performance with Makhadzi on the stage everything was going so well as they were performing the other songs, until they had to perform on the latest song Makhadzi released a week ago called Ghanama.

The Limpopo Boyz went on top of the roof of the stage and started dancing there and the crowd loved the performance, until an accident occurred, when one of the Limpopo Boyz fall off the roof ass he was dancing.

The young man after the fall he wasn’t moving at all on the video they took of him trying to wake him, it is sad that he was drunk and couldn’t see that he was on the edge of the roof.

People did their best to and that help the young man from Limpopo, to entertain in Mpumalanga. They managed to wake him up and he walked out from that fall with miner scratches.

They went to extreme on the performance trying to hard to empress but it ended in shocked and fear. Speed recovery young blood.
