Vhafuwi and the whole gang packed their bags a few months ago to go to Venda and share their love with their viewers in Thathe.

These guys have been at it since then, serving food to unsuspecting fans at restaurants, showing up in malls, and practically invading the villages there.

The show has partnered with GIC (Gap infrastructure Corporation) to give away blankets to the elders in their spiritual home, which is Thathe.

The elders met their favorite stars eye to eye and received great gifts.

Innocentia Manchindi, who plays Rendani Mukwevho, spoke on how important it is to not take small gestures for granted. Muvhango donated these blankets as they participated in the 67 minutes of Mandela day, which happens every July 18th.

Riya Hayani means going back home, and that’s exactly what they have been doing for their 25 years on the air.

Muvhango is seen as the platform that gave the VhaVenda tradition a voice and exposed everyone to the beauty of the language.

The creator of the Soapie Duma, JA Ndlovu, said that the Riya Hayani celebrations hit differently because everyone came together to make sure that 25 years of the Soapie being on air is remembered forever.

In the storyline at the moment, James Motsamai is tasked to bring back his father’s dead spirit.

The story tackled rape and incest as James was born to his uncle, who took his mother.

James hates his father and doesn’t feel like he needs to do anything to help the spirit of a rapist, but his culture forces him to.

Gabriel Temundzani, who plays Azwindini, said it is very compelling and satisfying to be celebrated at home.

The show was honored by the Department of Arts and Culture in Limpopo, where they hosted a Gala dinner at the Kalahari WaterFront to give Muvhango their flowers.
