Remember The Girl Who Was Laughed And Called a Zimbabwean? See What Is Happening In Her Life Now

The level of unemployment in our country is overwhelming. Some people are even dropping out of school because, nowadays, education is no longer motivating since even educated people are unemployed. All over the streets, we see young people soting with cards that say they are looking for jobs, while some have lost hope and are drowning their dreams in alcohol and substance abuse.

However, there are some who haven’t given up on their dreams regardless of the situation. But some haven’t given up, just like Adorlee Mudau. Adorlee is a University of Venda graduate who had dreams just like any other kid, but due to the unemployment in our country, she struggled to find a job after graduation. Unlike other kids, Adorlee didn’t throw away her dreams. Instead, she used the money she saved throughout her university years to buy a stand and start making mad bricks.

Since she had no time for labor, She had to make those bricks with her bare hands. She was always dirty since she was always busy making bricks. Some people used to alight at her and call her a Zimbabwean because of the hard labour she did when she made those bricks. Many people mocked her that she wasted time going to university and now she’s working like a Zimbabwean.

After saving some money from the brick business, Adorlee decided to stock fruits and vegetables and sell them in the streets using a wheelbarrow. She even opened a small spa za where she sells her vegetables. After saving a few from the vegetable business, Adorlee decided to start a catering business, which went so well she ended up busting two cars, one for business and one for personal use.

As we are speaking, Adorlee is the CEO of her own catering company, and she also opened another business selling food on the roadside. Her story is one of the most motivating and it gives hope to those who are hopeless.

When Chris Hani residents awaken, water tankers are lined the streets

More than 5,000 Chris Hani Village residents decided to block off Kariega’s streets on Friday in order to pressure the local government into giving them more Jojo tanks and water tankers.

However, the large community demonstration looks to have been avoided thanks to the arrival of much-needed water tankers on Monday and the presence of President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Siya Mama, a spokesperson for the Nelson Mandela Bay Water Crisis Committee, claimed that people were taken aback to discover numerous water trucks lining their streets early on Monday.

Given that the 5,000 villagers had spent months squeezing and pushing one another to get water from a single Jojo tank in the neighborhood, he remarked that this was remarkable.

Ramaphosa visited the Metro on Monday to celebrate Mandela Day with the locals. He made use of the occasion to reassure the populace that the administration would work to delay Day Zero.

He started by going to the Nooitgedacht Water Treatment Works, which is where water is transferred from the water-scarce Nelson Mandela Bay in the Free State from the Gariep Dam.
