Aka’s cousin appears on new season of Idols.

Season 18 of South African Idols kicked of yesterday and one of the contestants on the show was Aka’s cousin, Kaylene Hendricks. She was accompanied by Aka’s mother Lynn Forbes to her audition.

Kaylene said in her interview that she wants to make it on her own and not use her cousin AKA to get into the music industry. Kaylene ended up getting a golden ticket and she will be going to theathre week.
