She acknowledged that it was a challenging experience for her and that she has grown as a result of it.

Things take place, you interact with a variety of people…

She stated that owning brands does not automatically equate to receiving a sizable portion of the pie.

“Through that experience, I gained a better understanding of what a retail space entails. That are the individuals who have the most financial success? We get so worked up about owning equity and owning a brand, but you know, that might not actually be where the money is.

When Phil Mphela spoke negatively on MD Skin, it ignited a heated discussion. “I have experience with Minnie’s goods. The lotion did nothing for me, but I don’t mind using body wash when it’s cold outside. However, the amount of cream in the body wash can sometimes be too much for me to handle in the summer.

He went on to touch on the reasons why the products do not sell very well when affiliated with a celebrity.

“From my perspective, there is insufficient knowledge and courtship of the star’s most devoted followers. There is a gap between the brands, influences, and actual fans that local celebrities have. When their fans can’t afford that product or don’t want it, they frequently believe that their own brand has a high level of LSM.

Minnie has just recently begun operating her newest business endeavor, which is a high-end lifestyle institution known as The Mansion.

She began her message by saying, “Spring is the season of rebirth, thus I considered it only natural that I welcome you to my latest business venture @themansionsa,” which was the name of her Instagram account.

“After a few years of upheaval in the business as a result of lockdown, I want the space to be a location where we are able to put money in the pockets of our artists by booking fantastic DJs and performers and honoring the finest of our incredible entertainment industry. At the Mansion, the atmosphere is of the utmost importance.

“I want to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to the launch event being a success. My partners and the crew that we have been working with on this project over the past few months. Thank you to all of the wonderful people who were able to attend as well as the DJs who kept the party going all night long. Cheers to many more unforgettable evenings spent at The Mansion!

Former Generation’s actress has allegedly lost her house, see who it is

It is getting worse in the entertainment industry with certain celebrities as more and more are continuing to face struggles.

Sophie Ndaba is a South African media personality known for being an actress. She is popular known from Generations before it became Generation’s The Legacy whereby she played the character of a receptionist who always followed people’s businesses.

Ndaba has also played different roles on shows such as Isidingo, family secrets, lockdown and others. Sophie has not been well as she has been suffering from diabetes. Ndaba also lost her husband, Max who allegedly cheated and abused her. It did not only end with that, she has now allegedly lost her home.

She allegedly owed Mercantile Bank after having borrowed R2,2 million on 15 September 2016 to purchase a posh home in Johannesburg. The bank was supposed to be paid more that 22 000 in installments for 240 months but payments were not made until arrears made it to R80 000.

Court papers which were seen by Sunday World regarding Sophie Ndaba loosing her home said, “Having heard counsel and having considered the papers filed in the matter, the following order is made against the first and second respondents, jointly and severely the one paying the other to be absolved”.

“Wherefore the plaintiff prays for judgement as follows:as against the first and second defendants, jointly and severally the one paying the other to be absolved. Payment of the sum of R2 254 545, 85 at the rate of 10,5% per annum calculated daily and compounded monthly in arrears from 1 January 2019 to date of payment, both date inclusive”, the court papers continued

“Declaring that the immovable property registered in the first defendants name held by it under the title deed which correlated to Featherbrook Estate, Krugersdorp, be declared specially and immediately executable”, the papers added.

It is now getting worse with celebrities but who can blamed them. The future cannot be predicted, all of them including Sophie made a debt knowing that they will be able to pay it but things changed. However, it does not mean that they should continue making these debts. Going forward when they make those debts, they should think things clearly and have backup plans about how will they be able to pay them.
