Over the past few years, we have watched King Monada grow as an artist and as a producer, bringing in new talent from where he comes from.

Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club middlefielder, Grant Margeman got married to his longtime girlfriend yesterday in a private ceremony in his home town of Hout Bay in Cape Town, Western Cape.

The former now defunct Ajax Cape Town Football Club star middlefielder is a journeyman in South African football, as in his less than 10 years career he has already played for four clubs including Swallows Football Club and Supersport United Football Club which he moved to on loan from reigning Dstv Premiership champions, Sundowns.

The 24-year-old South African junior international was rumoured to have been married before which turned out to not be true, as he finally got married to the mother of his son yesterday in a glittering event at Riverside Boutique Hotel in Hout Bay, Cape Town.

I think soccer players should get married at an early age, as it always makes them more responsible and grounded as well. We can look at how married soccer stars are carrying themselves compared to single ones.

But what I love the most about this, is that he married the woman he has been with for almost his entire career, which is a sign of maturity and understanding.

Last night’s episode of the Mamazala was another sad one highlighting how conflictive marriage and family dynamics can be.

Out of everything that was said though, my attention was by the mean comments directed to the mother-in-law.

 

 

 
More than anything, the comments revealed just how much people are ageist.

The fact that so many people were also shameless in their mean comments shows that we are slowly becoming a vile generation.

The funniest thing is that we will get old and the stale attitude we have towards aging will be directed to us.

No one should be accused of witchcraft just because they are old and short.
