Posting a pic of him with a birthday cake, she shared: “Today, you would have been 54. I wish more than anything that I could give you the biggest birthday cuddle and kiss and make a wish for you, as we celebrate you and your life

“I miss you so much, my love bug. I will never stop loving you”.

‘TO LOVE AND BE LOVED’
Mark Pilgrim’s birthday comes just over six months since his passing.

In June, the Hot 102.7 DJ was remembered in a charity concert called the Pilgrimage Party. The event – named after Mark Pilgrim’s Pilgrimage albums from the early 00’s – raised R102 000 through ticket sales for the Reach For A Dream foundation.

Mark was an ambassador for the NGO, which makes “wishes come true” for children living with life-threatening illnesses.

Reflecting on the special occasion, Adrienne shared on her Instagram page: “We sent balloons into the night sky as we made a special wish for you, my love . And then shared such a beautiful evening at The Pilgrimage Party celebrating YOU”.

“And how lucky all of us are to have had the privilege of you for so many years and especially me…. to love and be loved by you!”
