In early May 2022, popular celebrity commentator Musa Khawula declared that he had revealed Ayanda Thabethe’s baby daddy and boyfriend. The name put forward by Musa Khawula was Peter Matsimbe.

Musa Khawula also went on to allege that Peter Matsimbe was a married man who had at least two other children with his wife.

Immediately Ayanda Thabethe caught wind of Musa Khawula’s tweet, she denied the dating allegation and clarified that she was “definitely not dating a married man or even an engaged man.” She also warned Musa Khawula against ruining people’s lives by spreading misinformation.

One month after denying dating Peter Matsimbe, a video of Ayanda and Peter Matsimbe living it up on a yacht in Jumeirah Al Naseem, Dubai made rounds online.

Shortly after that, Musa Khawula shared a series of photos of Ayanda and her baby daddy celebrating a birthday cake with the name “Peter” on it. Confirming what the blogger had published in May about the identity of Ayanda’s man to be true.

Shortly after Musa Khawula’s tweet confirming the identity of Ayanda Thabethe’s baby daddy as Peter Matsimbe “PK,” the model came under fire from a section of social media users who identified a ring on PK’s wedding finger and immediately concluded that he was indeed married and they accused Ayanda Thabethe of breaking up a family.
