Seasoned actor Fana Mokoena has been a force to be reckoned with ever since his Television career debuted his career in 1994. The actor has made a name for himself in South African households and is loved by many Television lovers. Fana Mokoena joined the Scandal cast playing the role of Vukile Kubeka, a businessman. Together with his wife Nomvula, played by Slindile Nodangala, they headed the Kubeka family. Their family had shady business dealings and dark secrets among themselves that led to a lot of fights. The couple owned a waste management company and their kids helped them run it. However, Vukile had a mistress named Rachel, whom his family knew nothing of. On the other end, his wife was in illegal dealings with their youngest son, and they covered up a murder.

However, their secrets were exposed when a human trafficker and drug dealer named Mukuna came to the scene. The family started fighting until their children deemed their parents unfit to run the company. Vukile and Nomvula have relocated and left the business in their two children’s hands. It has not been made public whether the characters are coming back or they have been written off.

Recently Fana Mokoena debuted a new look that had fans excited for his next role. The actor showed off a beard that he has been growing for the production that he is working on. The actor shared that the role for which he had developed his beard is international but kept it under wraps. The actor is known to keep his face clean and shaven for most of his previous television roles.

Besides being an actor, Fana Mokoena is active as a politician under the EFF and shows it off on his social media accounts. Before his role in Scandal, Fana took an acting sabbatical to be in politics. The actor even turned down an international role for his career as an MP for his political party.
