Uzalo’s Noxolo Mathula On How She Survived Not Working During The Pandemic.

How Noxolo Mathula of Uzalo Managed to Get By Without a Paycheck During the Pandemic. In the wake of the global reopening of the two-year COVID-19 outbreak, people are discussing how they managed financially during that time.

Even celebrities in the entertainment business, including as actors and actresses, were not spared the financial hardships brought on by the pandemic. Uzalo actor Noxolo Mathula recently admitted to Sunday World that she had to go out on her own when filming concluded.

The actress, better known as Lily on Uzalo, shared that she started a small catering business selling hot dogs when the pandemic hit.

“In the acting industry, if you don’t work, you don’t get paid. In order to provide for my family, I had to get a job. She told the press that she had come to terms with the fact that acting like a celebrity was doing nothing for her bank account. Now that she has returned to her work as a full-time performer on Uzalo, her mother has taken over as manager, and the firm is growing. She mentioned that a container and a mobile kitchen were recently purchased to handle the company’s growing demand.

The 28-year-old actress also spoke about how her on-screen persona, Lily, has evolved, expressing gratitude for Lily’s progress and said that she can relate to Lily because “any ordinary person can.” At first Mxolisi, who was fixated on money and drugs, disliked Lily, but now she recognizes her as “someone who has made something of her life.”
