Idols SA judge Unathi Nkayi has been fired from her radio job a week ago. Kaya 959 has announced the termination of her contract with immediate effect today.

Nkayi, who joined the station in February last year hosted the station’s midday show from noon to 3pm.

Unathi’s contract has ended prematurely due to what station take it as misconduct that rendered the relationship intolerable going forward.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Media personality Unathi Nkayi has broken her silence on her altercation with radio personality Sizwe Dhlomo via a video posted on Instagram on 26 November 2021.

“I’ve been silenced by Kaya. I received a letter that states I may not speak of the matter publicly because of the contractual agreements we all have as freelancers. I was specifically told that I cannot use my platform to share my version of events. The only matter I will address because it is very important to me is the theme of GBV that keeps on coming up,” said Unathi.

Today we have learnt that the Former radio host Unathi Nkayi has allegedly instructed her legal team to sue Gauteng-based radio station Kaya FM and prominent radio presenter Sizwe Dhlomo after she was dismissed from the station a week ago.
