Tributes pour in for DJ Sumbody , Amapiano sensation

The man known for his famous chant ”Ashee nthwela” trended on Twitter this morning after news of his alleged assassination broke out.

Oupa John Sefoka is a well-known music musician and disc jockey from South Africa. He goes by the stage name DJ Sumbody, but his real name is Oupa John Sefoka. DJ Sumbody, whose real name was Oupa Sefoka, was driving on Woodmead road when his vehicle came under attack from unknown assailants who fired a hail of bullets, instantly taking his lifeDJ and one of his bodyguards.

A Sandton police officer, who did not want to be named because he is not permitted to speak to the media, said that a third person, who is believed to be DJ Sumbody’s second bodyguard, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after being shot multiple times in the solar plexus.
