In South Africa, performing at political rallies is very common for any artist. People were outraged after seeing a photo of Makhadzi dressed in ANC regalia while performing. People thought she was being used to attract supporters because of her affiliation with the party.
2. Makhadzi and police

Makhadzi ended up on the trends because the police were acting as her bodyguards. The police came out in numbers to support her. This angered a lot of people because many felt that the police should not act as personal bodyguards to an artist, while crimes are being committed out there.
3. Makhadzi and Babes Wodumo.

Babes Wodumo accused Makhadzi of wanting her husband Mampintsha. All this started when they were recording a song. Babes went on to publicly call out Makhadzi out of her name. Makhadzi responded in a video and claimed that all that was being said is false.

This two started coming at each other and it was messy. There both had a heated exchange of words and it’s fair to say that the two are not in good terms.
