Makgofe young girls, Morongoa Monyobedi and Shady Mahlashane who left their 4 children for three weeks forcefully brought back home from Ga-Matlala ( Madietane) by some concerned Makgofe community members this evening, 20 October 2022.

This after the post on our newspage made rounds on socials about them.

 

 

 

According to those who went to fetch them, the family was contacted by anonymous about their whereabouts. They were found chilling outside the rented tarven rooms where they hid themselves. They tried to flee but they couldn’t succeed. They were told to pack their belongings and get into the car which belongs to a local good Samaritan woman.

The grandfather of shady told our publication that the Seshego police came in the morning but they couldn’t help saying that they work on arresting people not looking for people who left their children.

Grandfather said that Mmotong social workers took a 4-months-old baby, the other 1-year-old one was taken by her father and left one who is 4-year-old. Morongoa’s child was with her sister.

When being asked by Seshego and Moletjie News, Shady said that they did not have money to come home whereas they were laughing and insulting people on live facebook videos looking excited.

Morongoa said that the reason she escaped was that she had her personal issues which she denied to disclose.

They promised that they will not repeat it again.

Community members were gathered at the home of shady trying to advise them not to repeat what occurred again as it hurts the grandfather and children.
