Thembsie Matu and Unathi Matu are related in real life

Thembsie Matu, an award-winning actress best known for playing Petronella in The Queen, is related to Sipho, Schumacher’s lover, real name Unathi Matu in real life.Themsie also acts on ETV’s now canned show; Rhythm City as a nurse known as Sis Bee; Jafta’s girlfriend and Mampho’s step-mother. Peter Sebotsa, the husband of the Queen actress, died in a swimming pool drowning. After 36 years of marriage, they had two children together.The popular actress revealed that her 23-year-old daughter; Mamosa Matu was an aspiring musician while her son Unathi Matu wanted to be an actor.

When asked about her children’s careers, the actress revealed: “I want them to make their own mistakes I don’t want them to become ‘Thembsie’s son’ or ‘Thembsie’s daughter,’ but to build their own names in the industry.”
