Is Nonku Williams engaged?

Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star Nonku Williams received several congratulatory messages from her fans on Thursday, 2 May, when she posted a picture sporting an engagement ring. The businesswoman, and mother-of-three, shared images of herself conspicuously showing off her ring. In the caption, Nonku said she was no longer available. Her fans were even more convinced when her best friend and fellow RHOD cast member Jojo Robinson shared a post of them with another cast member, Maria Valaskatzis, gushing over the ring.“Celebratory breakfast to officially welcome nonks to the off-limits club,” Jojo wrote. However, Nonku later laughed off the messages from her followers, telling them that it was just a joke.“I can’t believe they fell for it! I’m married to Jesus guys calm down,” Nonku commented on Jojo’s post.

During the fourth season of RHOD, Nonku told the ladies that she is dating again. Although not revealing her partner’s identity, she shared that he is married and want to take her as his second wife.Previously, the construction business owner was engaged to businessman, Dumisani Ndlazi – whom she called “Rough Diamond” or “RD”.

However, their engagement ended abruptly and nastily as the ex-couple has been threatening legal action against each other.

The legal drama between the two ex-lovers came after Nonku accused Ndlazi of scamming her. During the second episode of the fourth season of the Showmax reality series, the construction magnet told her sister that the controversial businessman stole material from her company.

Ndlazi has denied the claims in a letter of demand, subsequently telling Nonku to apologise. The Richards Bay-born entrepreneur told ZiMoja that the reality TV star was already drowning in debt when they started dating. He claimed that he was the one who’d pay her workers’ salaries because she didn’t have the finances to do so.

However, the reality TV star refuses to issue an apology.

Before the scamming scandal, the former couple’s relationship was already in the limelight because of Ndlazi’s rape case – which was published in a 2014 article by the Zululand Observer.
