Seete is an award-winning performer and model who hails from South Africa.

Thembi Seete is her full name. While in Boom Shaka, she was the group’s most beloved member. In her current Gomora Mzansi Magic telenovela role, she is known as “Gladys”.

 

 

Seete was born in Soweto, South Africa, on March 25, 1977. She had to deal with the death of her father when she was a young woman.

South Africa’s Vaal area town of Sebokeng is where her aunt and uncle raised her. She lost her mother in March of that year, Rebecca Seete

Collen Mashawana, a successful businessman, was her husband. Dakalo, her lone kid, was born in April of this year.

Once, she played a crucial role in the 1994 Boom Shaka kwaito supergroup. The band disbanded in 2000, although she remained in the group as a singer. Her first notable role was in Hijack Stories, which she appeared in in 2000. Her next gig was in a SABC1 sitcom, where she played a supporting role.
