Zama Khumalo was crowned the winner of Idols SA Season 16 in 2020 with the R1 million cash prize she won and other benefits. She embarked on a journey that dramatically changed her life from rags to riches. With the encouragement of her family, the 19-year-old auditioned for Idols SA and walked away with the prize money.

 

 

 

She is in the historical book Idols SA for being one of the youngest contestants who walked away with the grand prize. With all the pressure on the singing competition, she managed to stand her ground, showing off her outstanding singing skills.
