The Mselekus are in much better spirits compared to previous season and its refreshing to watch

Uthandonesthembu is on their 6th season, the polygamous family has been on our tv screens for the past 6 years. In the first seasons of the show the wives weren’t comfortable around each other although their husband tried so much to create a united front but failed. The wives had so much entitlement acting as if each of them were more important than the other.

However on this new season the Mselekus are showing us how wonderful polygamy is. The wives are more comfortable around each other and are no longer competing for Musa’s attention, although there are issues that needs to be ironed however they are working together as a functional family.

Most people’s concerns were Musa’s parenting skills however in this season the man with four wives has been spending more time with his children more than he does the wives.

People who grew up in large families have a problem with attention and feeling left out. However with how this season is played out it seems Musa is trying by all means to give all his children his attention.

Sne has come back but with another pregnancy, although MaKhumalo has raised Mpilo as her own one worries about Mpilo’s attitude towards the other children and her other mothers.

This season has been more about family, every family has their own drama and in this family it is expected for it to escalate and be more dramatic than in any other. Each week the Mseleku’s are happy amongst each other and they have something good to say about each other which is pleasant to watch.

MaKhumalo remains the fan favourite as people sympathize with her however Mato Musa’s first wife is the core of this show. Mato has a beautuful heart and can’t hide it, she’s genuine and does not act for the cameras. It’s absolutely refreshing seeing the wives laugh with each other and get along so well. There is harmony in the Mseleku household.
