Mthandeni ‘Gcokama Elisha’ Manqele released his end of 2020 album with a song that is believed to be dissing Big Zulu. On hearing the song Big Zulu made a video where he called Mthandeni by a yellow bone who is afraid to face other men. The utterances of Big Zulu are simple saying that Mthandeni is a woman hence he says he is a yellow bone. Gcokama Elisha indeed is light in complexion so Big zulu used that also to diss him. According to Zulu culture to be called by a woman is a serious insult that may make these two men to may think of killing each other if no one tries to resolve the escalating situation between them. In his video Big Zulu says he is calling Mthandeni by a yellow bone because he is the one who started to diss him in one of his song he released early this month. He says he has met Mthandeni twice at Montrose and Harrismith but Mthandeni ran away, so according to him he is not a man enough to face him face to face not to insult him through his music.

When Mthandeni is asked about this the words of Big Zulu, he says he did not run away from him but it was raining and he was rushing to Johannesburg to attend his businesses. He says when he saw Big zulu he just opened the drivers window and greeted him with humbleness not because he is afraid of him but surprisingly Big Zulu never said come lets fight. According to him the latest video is just a mockery of himself because if he wanted a fight he should have done that way back. Gcokama Elisha explained the origin of their beef is started by Big Zulu because of his tendency of going after what he (Mthandeni) is doing in music. According to Mthandeni he is the one who revived the brand of Brentwood after no one in Maskandi music was wearing it, then Big zulu followed him. He was about to sign an agreement with the brand of Brentwood, Big Zulu peached in and signed an agreement with the brand as their ambassador. Even with carvella it was the same thing, Big Zulu just overtook him and became a brand ambassador for Carvella shoes. So to him its clear that this Hip Hop star is always after whatever he does which is not fair.

Mthandeni further explained that he called brentwood ‘Ugodo’, Big Zulu called it ‘Ugodo eMaboneng’. Gcokama Elisha called his music ‘ushuni wenkani’, Big Zulu called his music ‘Ushuni wenkabi’. To Mthandeni big zulu is not a artist he is just a copycat who always goes after people things and claims to be his. Mthandeni said unfortunately Big Zulu will not catch him now because he just signed a deal with Vodacom for Mthandeni mobile simcard. Its unsually that a Maskandi artist disses a Hip hop artist, this clearly shows that South African music is growing irrespective of the genre.
