ACTRESS Sonia Mbele has come forth and addressed the ongoing rumours that she was dating the late actor, Menzi Ngubane in real life. Lately, there have some reports that the two were dating in real life.

 

 

 

 

 

It will be remembered that the two had real chemistry on the old Generation’s and they were a perfect couple, best match on screen. The Dlomo couple gave us that feels about marriage as they had such a wonderful one going. Many people looked up to Sbusiso and Ntombi Dlomo’s kind of marriage as they had it so well.

Sonia broke down when she spoke at Menzi’s funeral earlier on this year and it was very sad as she mentioned that Menzi was literally her partner as he portrayed the husband role so well on screen. Few months after his death, she took to social media and stated that it has not been easy dealing with his death as it came as a shock to her. His death really hit her hard to the extent that she could not believe instantly nor accept that he’s gone.

Their bond was so real of which it could have led people to believe that they dated in real life.

Mbele was having an interview with MacG on his show, Podcast and Chill where she set the record straight on dating Menzi.

“We never, not even once. To a point where [when] we said goodbye, we respected each other’s spaces. I would not call him at home. There were boundaries that should never be crossed and we never crossed one single one, it was highly professional.”

Sonia also opened up about her attempts of failure to find love again after her divorce.

The Diep City actress said that because she is old school, if she were looking into getting in a relationship, she would want her partner to be a gentleman. She added that she even tried finding love on Tinder for two weeks under a different name towards the end of 2020.
