Accidents are terrible and no one wish to be involved in one. In most cases, accident leaves their Victims dead or with severe injuries. It is so unfortunate that we have been witnessing alot of accidents on our roads on daily basis. We hope that a long and lasting solution would be discovered and applied by the appropriate authorities in order to help reduce the rate of accidents on our roads.


 

 

 
An accident happened in Pretoria recently which claimed the lives of 3 people and left 6 others injured. In the accident, a driver of a BMW sedan ran over a group of 9 pedestrians by a roadside as the Vehicle drifted from the road. Three little girls were found dead, two of the girls were twin sisters. All three girls are four years old. Four adults were severely injured from the accident too. While the remaining two sustained moderate injuries. 

The accident happened close to a traffic circle on 6th and Koch Street at Salvakop in Pretoria Gauteng Province around 17:00. The driver ran over a group of nine Pedestrians before crashing into a tree. Three female were confirmed dead and six others were seriously injured.

Immediately after the incident, emergency services arrived at the scene to carry out rescue operations and manage the situation. The scene was filled with injured victims, and three young children were confirmed dead by medics on arrival at the scene. The injured victims were transported to the hospital for medical attention. One of the injured victims is confirmed to be 9 months pregnant.

The driver came out of the accident alive and fled on foot to escape the angry crowd that was gathering around the scene. The case is under investigation by the South African police service.

The cause of the accident is not stated but it is speculated that it may be as a result of alcohol or reckless driving. We hope that the cities become safe and free from accident as soon as possible.
