WHERE WAS FAF BORN?
He was born in Nelspruit, a city in Mpumalanga Province in South Africa. The city is also known as Mbombela and it is located north-east in the country.Faf was fortunate enough to get a scholarship that afforded him the opportunity to attend the University of Johannesburg, Rugby World reported.

WHAT IS FAF’S HEIGHT?
According to the publication, he is usually one of the shortest players on the field with his height as just 5ft 7.

WHAT DOES HE WAY?
In 2021, he was said to have weighed only 80kg, an estimated 12st 8lb. It is unclear whether he has lost or gained since then.

Like all of us, Faf also has a favorite rugby player. His childhood hero was reported to be none other than the Springboks legend, Joost van der Westhuizen.

The Springboks scrum-half is married to Miné van Niekerk. The lovely couple said their ‘I dos’ in front of family and friends at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek, the Citizen reported. His fellow teammates were said to have attended the beautiful ceremony that took place in October 2022.
