Against the news, little is known about the rumoured auction that happened a few weeks ago. However, his Morningside mansion is also for sale. The mansion is selling for a whopping R75 million. No doubt this is one of his most-priced properties.Edwin Sodi’s company is at the centre stage of two multi-million tenders. The two tenders include the R255 million asbestos contract in the Free State and the R295 Rooiwal Wastewater Treatment Works.

The two controversial tenders are before the courts. However, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) revealed that Sodi’s property worth over R300 million would only be forfeited to the state if Edwin Sodi is found guilty. Edwin Sodi is set to appear before the courts on 15 April, along with Ace Magashule and 17 others.Despite his corruption allegations, Sodi has lost a considerable chunk of his assets to the NPA asset forfeiture unit. With his court appearance drawing close, let’s dive into some of the properties the NPA has seized. In 2020, the NPA seized:29 cars
27 properties
19 active accounts
Movable goods that belonged to him and his company, Blackhead Consulting
HOLLARD GOES AFTER NJR’S FLEET OF 90 CARS
However, despite his woes, Sunday World reports that Edwin Sodi might lose over 90 cars after failing to pay a R39 million advance payment from a R282 million tender deal.

Hollard Insurance turned to the courts after Sodi’s company, NJR Projects, failed to settle an R39 million loan. Hollard Insurance wants the courts to seize Edwin Sodi’s company fleet, which includes:

Five Bell TLBs
