Well, it was all fun and games until a tweep used a picture of the late Lebo Mathosa in her challenge. The resemblance was uncanny so much so that tweeps had to ask her if Lebo was indeed her late mom. In the spirit of having fun the tweep confirmed that Lebo was her mom.
Mathosa was well known for being a member of the notorious Kwaito music group ‘Boom Shaka’, the star was also known for her famous hits such as Ntozabantu, I love music, and Awu dede to name a few.
The song bird died in a car crash on the N3 highway near Germiston on the East Rand, in the early hours of the 13th of October 2006, at the tender age of 29.
It was reported that she was flung out of her Toyota Prado when the driver lost control and the vehicle and crashed into a tree. She sustained extensive internal injuries and died on the scene.
