Siyabonga Zubane (23) is said to be a humble performer and artist and is hard working.

The young actor was born in Alexandra, which is ironically where the TV series is filmed every day. I believe that this is why Zubane was able to understand the language and culture of Alexandra and thus perfectly execute the role of a thus who will do anything for a quick buck.

He went to university in central Pretoria where he majored in performing arts and dance at the Tshwane University of Technology. I always find it admirable and very brave, for one to go study their passion. I know that many can say that they studied what they have a passion for, and many will be lying.

He even studied theatre arts in high school before going to college.

So why did Zubane commit suicide, especially at such a young age, and just when he entered the career for which he had passion? We can only try to answer that question, but not know unless we ask Zubane himself.

I believe that many people, specifically in South Africa, believe that actors get paid a lot of money. I also believe that the friends and family members add unnecessary pressure on the entertainers, especially when they are starting off. I am not saying that this is the cause, it is just my view.
