Jerry Sadike was reported missing last Monday after his family realized they couldn’t find him anywhere.

The Daily Sun says that Sadike’s body was found at the Edenvale Hospital on Thursday. Health officials confirmed that he had died four days before.

Sadike usually spent most of his time in his own yard, so his family was surprised when he went missing on a Monday.

And that’s because the man who used to play for the Bucs and Amakhosi was always taking medicine for a stroke he had earlier this year.

After MAMELODI SUNDOWNS kicked George Mauleko out, he found a new place to live.

WHO IS ORLANDO PIRATES AND KAIZER CHIEFS LEGEND JERRY SADIKE?

Sadike was born in Soweto, and he got to play for the Pimville United Brothers, Chiefs, and Pirates, three of the best teams in the township.

He joined Amakhosi in 1973, which was three years after Kaizer Motaung and other people involved at the time started it.

Sadike later joined Pirates, which was a surprising move because Chiefs and Pirates were rivals at the time.

With his goals for both Pirates and Chiefs, he became a Soweto Derby legend. Sadike is one of only six players who have scored for both teams in the Soweto Derby.

As Motaung remembered the late striker Sadike, Chiefs put a tribute to him on their official website.

Who are the other players in the Soweto Derby who have scored for both the Pirates and the Chiefs?
