Lebani Sirenje, popular known by his stage name Rasta, has paid tribute to award-winning artist and Big Nuz member Mampintsha. Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo died on December 24 after being suffered for a minor stroke. Rasta has become popular for painting portraits of the deceased celebrities that do not resemble their images.
Rasta recently took to his social media page where he shared portraits picture of Mampintsha which he created. Zimbabwean-born artist, Rasta, has revealed his big plans regarding his career in arts. Rasta have previously been featured in a Chicken Lichen advertisement where he shows off his talents and art.
According to the source, Rasta has also been featured in Black Brain’s telenovela Diep City and hosting a 300-piece solo exhibition. Rasta said he’s happy about the process that his life had been. Rasta has finally got recognition from his fans, where he now gets a chance to travel across the country and show his work.
He has been travelling to countries like Swaziland and Botswana, and he is happy that the people have been loving him. Rasta has told news reporters that he will be taking a tour across Africa. He said that he has contacts with other artists. He promised his fans and follow to have another exhibition in the rest of Africa.
