Rapper Ifani explains why he left the music industry for 6 years and talks about his next Album

Rapper iFani’s rise to fame was accompanied by a great deal of strain, and even when he broke into the entertainment industry, he was unable to find inner peace.

He explained that he did not have fun during the period when he was breaking records with his smash hit single, Ewe, which was followed by Shake during the years 2012 and 2014.

Mzayifani Mzondeleli Boltina, a 37-year-old musician from the Eastern Cape who is known by his stage name Ifani, said that this is the reason he stepped away from the music profession for nearly six years. iFani stated that the amount of pressure was just too much, and the only thing he desired was to have some time off and rest at home.

“During the time I was working on my debut record, everything in my life was going extremely well. I was getting bookings left and right, but I was unable to keep up with the demand because the pressure was too much. I had the impression that I was going to fight because it was so difficult for me. “After making more money, I made the decision to move somewhere where there is more peace,” he added.

He said that he was unable to deal with all that was going on, including the accidents and the bosses’ suspicions that he was lying. Therefore, the only choice left was to end my career in music.

iFani stated that he had it easy at home because no one was putting pressure on him. He also stated that he does not regret taking a break and that he had peace of mind despite the fact that he did not have any money as a result of taking the break.

iFani stated that at that time he gained a significant amount of knowledge regarding the spirituality and culture of Africa.

“Simply put, I want people to know that pausing is perfectly OK. You can’t put yourself in dangerous situations all the time or you’ll end up getting burned.”

His next album, which will be titled Intro (3rd Quadrant) will be made available and released to the public on August 18, 2023.

He mentioned that the new album contains a song called “Intro” which is about his experience working in the entertainment industry and how he was able to get back to finding himself and reconnecting with his origins.

“I’ve had a nice break, and I feel like I’m ready to go again.” He said that people would see him more in the near future.

When asked about the conflict he had with the rapper Cassper Nyovest, he responded that they had resolved it through conversation and that they are now in a good place.
