Award-winning musician Makhadzi has publicly voiced her frustration and disappointment after being allegedly sabotaged at the Africa Music Festival UK.

Reports have it that her time slot was changed, and she saw herself performingIn a now-viral video, the star was reportedly paid half a million for her appearance at the event, only to perform for at least 40 minutes. However, she only managed to sing for 10 minutes. She has it that she was sabotaged.

Despite being booked for an hour set, she saw her slot repeatedly changed to her disadvantage. The adjustment later resulted in a mere ten-minute window to showcase her talent.


 

 

 

 

The management reportedly caused Makhadzi’s woes after they allowed Zimbabwean dancehall sensation Winky to perform for more than an hour.

His long-fire performance also encroached on Zimbabwean star Jah Prayzah’s slot. She went on to take a swipe at the promoters for using her to sell tickets. Undoubtedly, she has quickly become one of the most sought-after stars.

Makhadzi made a startling allegation, asserting that the promoter had exploited her and Jah Prayzah’s names to sell tickets for the event. The Queen of Africa made it known they were deliberately deprived of the time they deserved on stage.She was forced to perform for at least 10 minutes since she had to share the remaining 40 minutes with Jah Prayzah. Makhadzi made it known that the sabotage was a plot to tarnish her brand and reputation.

Expressing her heartfelt apologies to her loyal Zimbabwean fanbase, Makhadzi made it known that the situation was beyond her control.
