President Cyril Ramaphosa was seen shopping at a grocery store in Spain

It’s not often that ordinary people get to rub shoulders with presidents, and at grocery stores no less. And to think that a number of individuals saw President Cyril Ramaphosa inside a grocery store and walked right passed him like he was just an ordinary Joe is mind-blowing to say the least. This is why social media users couldn’t agree in the comment section on X.

Social media users were divided in the comment section as they couldn’t come to an agreement as to how and why Ramaphosa was unrecognized by shoppers at the unknown store in Spain. Nonetheless, what they could agree on was his “interesting” hand gestures. Netizens poked fun at the President’s behaviour in the clip and roasted him galore.

Over the weekend, Ramaphosa was in Ulundi, KwaZulu Natal attending the funeral of the late Traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Monarch, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi who died on Saturday morning, 9 September. After the funeral, he jetted off to New York for the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, EWN reported.
