Shauwn Mkhize, professionally known as Mam’Mkhize, is a South African socialite, businesswoman, philanthropist, and television personality. She is known for her Mzansi Magic reality television series, Kwa Mam’Mkhize. Shauwn Mkhize was born and raised in the village of Umbumbulu in KwaZulu-Natal under the care of her mother, Florence Mkhize who was an ANC veteran and anti-apartheid anti-war She graduated with a Diploma in Accounting from ML Sultan Technikon now known as the Durban University of Technology.

 

 

 

The BET Awards is an American award show that was established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year. The awards, which are presented annually, are broadcast live on BET. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by artists; some of the awards of more popular interest are presented in a televised ceremony.

A few days ago Mkhize attended the BET Awards as one of the guests. Like any other celebrities they want to shine and be noticed, but it looks like things didn’t go the way she wanted them to after this happened to her.

Musa Khawula took to his social media account to share the video of Mamkhize at the BET Awards. Musa Khawula wrote: Shawn Mkhize at the BET Awards posing by herself with no one interested in taking a picture of her.

People on social media know how to make things worse than they look. Mamkhize probably feels disappointed and embarrassed after what happened at the BET Awards Cameramen allegedly ignored her. And instead of making her feel better, they continued to drag and make fun of her.

People are saying this is what happens if you think you are important, they say just because she is a South African millionaire and built houses for people of KZN who were affected by the floods it doesn’t mean everyone thinks so and knows her.

They also say that she ended up getting that one snap from one Cameraman she hired and was also helped by the lady who was holding a board with her name on it, but if it wasn’t for that she wouldn’t have got that picture. Imagine making fun of another fellow South African after he went and got embarrassed in another country. This shows that people are bitter, could this mean they are jealous of Mamkhize because she is rich. And it’s not like Mamkhize is a bad person but instead, she does help we’re she can.

What could be the reason for people to treat her like this and say all these things mean things about her. If only we can love each other, the world would be a better place.
