Pearl is model, actress, television host and radio personality. The Queen Sono actor who is 32 years old had a tough childhood Experiences because of her skin color ,even now Pearl is still getting bullied because of her skin color .

Some of people never even used Pearl Thusi’s work ethic against her but trying to attack her using her skin color, They even tried to make it look like she doesn’t know how to act, brands and companies just choose her for here skin color but not the talent.

 on Behind The Story on BET, Pearl broke down about the hate she still gets in the industry and from members of the public because she is light-skinned that’s why she is where she is. The Pearl skin color issue didn’t start now, Pearl revealed on the interview with MacG that when she was still young she used to herself because she wanted to look darker as people were always bullying her because of her skin color.

After the interview with MacG people started to attack her saying she is lying.

Very true I was bullied too and it hurt like holy hell! But I think what annoys many people, and me, about Pearl is her denialism about how light skin propelled her further than her darker skinned peers, in her industry. Light skin has been celebrated more and she knows it.

Pearl Thusi is like those white people who say white privilege does exist but refuse to admit that they too are beneficiaries of white privilege

No one is invalidating Pearl Thusi’s experience. Truth is colourism is systematic it’s not just a child hood experience.

It’s one thing being privileged & in denial but to constantly use your privilege to draw selfish attention using serious issues like bullying is unacceptable Pearl Thusi must learn to behave!
