So sweet! Khoza brothers, SK and Abdul share their childhood with Fan

Khoza brothers, SK and AbdulMedia personalities and brothers SK and Abdul Khoza have recorded some videos to give their fans a front-row seat into their childhood as they share fond and not-so-fond memories of how their bond grew.

Abdul, who plays Qhaphela on Isibaya, and SK, who is best known as The Queen’s Shaka, are brothers in real life.

They recently told entertaining stories on Instagram that left their fans in stitches.

Looking back at some of his “fails” as a big brother, SK remembered a time he intentionally left his younger brother at school because he was angry that Abdul didn’t wanna share his lunch with him. This despite the fact that SK had the same lunch and ate it earlier on the day.

Fans wondered how the story of “missing Abdul” ended up and how small Abdul actually found his way home. He explained his side in the comment section to give them his take on how he eventually got back home.

“I had to jump into another car of ‘uMalume’ I didn’t know. But he said as long as I can direct him, he will get me home,” Abdul concluded the story.

“He (SK) asked me if he could have some of my lunch and I said, ‘No, you got the same thing’. That’s why he left me, imagine! He got mad,” Abdul said.SK said the mess he had made by leaving his brother behind only got real for him a few hours later when it was getting dark and Abdul was still not home.Khoza brothers, SK and Abdul

“I don’t know if I can love again,” he says. He met his late partner, Sipho Maluleka, after a friend picked him up at Joburg’s OR Tambo Airport in 2015. “My friend took me to a house session and I spotted him, all quiet and reserved, in the corner.” As the drinks started flowing Sipho mustered the courage to speak to Selbeyonce and asked him on a date.

“He said let’s go out for lunch tomorrow. I was playing hard to get But that didn’t stop Sipho, who worked in finance, from pursuing him. A few months later the two were dating and madly in love. “Funny thing is, Sipho didn’t know I was famous.” After dating for a year, marriage was on the cards, Selbeyonce told DRUM.ربما تحتوي الصورة على: ‏‏شخص واحد‏، ‏‏جلوس‏‏‏

“I love my partner and I’d like to get married some day and have my own family,” he said at the time (Radio’s perfect pair, 21 January 2016). But his dream of marrying his “amazing and kind” lover was dashed when Sipho was killed in a car crash in January this year. Selbeyonce had spoken to Sipho (29), who’d been driving his grandmother on an errand, two hours before the tragedy.

“All of a sudden I got a call saying he had died on the spot.” It’s been ten months since he lost the love of his life and Selbeyonce is still picking up the pieces.

“I’d never been loved like that. I was his first gay lover. He knew his sexuality. He said he wanted to express it with someone he really loves and that was me.” Sipho made Selbeyonce feel beyond special. “He sent me a text once asking me where I’d been all his life and that he couldn’t go a day without talking to me.”

Moving on is tough, he adds. “Sometimes I wake up and I drive to where he had the accident. It took me a long time to delete his number from my phone. I go through his Facebook profile often. I cry and I talk to him.” He also knows all the roads that lead to Sipho’s grave in the North Coast. “I drive to his grave and park at the graveyard.”

Star-studded couple Minnie Dlamini-Jones and Quinton Jones celebrated their second wedding anniversary on Monday.

The “Becoming Mrs Jones” star took to Instagram, posting a beautiful black and white photograph of them, coupled with the caption:

“Happy Anniversary my love ❤ These are the darkest days of my life but having you by side shows me that God still has my back. Ngikuthanda ngempilo yami yonke #TheJoneses 💎📸💄: @glamfuel PS totes channelling JLo & Arod”.

In the post, Minnie referred to “the darkest days” of her life stemming from the reported news of her brother, Khosini Dlamini undergoing treatment in ICU after suffering from an aneurysm.

Heartfelt congratulatory and sympathy comments followed the post by industry giants like Cassper Nyovest, Pearl Thusi, Gert Johan Coetzee and actress Tumi Morake among others.

Minnie and Quinton tied the knot in 2017. Months later fans witnessed the celebrations in their self produced reality documentary, “Becoming Mrs Jones”. Minnie dazzled in a white wedding dress covered in Swarovski crystals, designed by Gert Johan Coetzee.

In a recent interview with Independent Media’s Sunday Tribune, Minnie spoke of her start off days as a TV personality.

“I broke into the industry at the age of 19. In the year that I was turning 21, I got a major endorsement deal with LEGiT and that was where I made my first million. It, literally, changed my life. It was then that I understood the importance of being more than just a TV presenter. I won’t lie, I signed a very painful deal. It was a time when I had nothing and again, you learn through experience. So in terms of what I made, I could have definitely made a lot more. A lot of people took away a lot of money from that deal. Nonetheless, I was a millionaire. I think about six months later, I was back to being flat broke.” she said

Less than a decade later, the powerhouse has her own media house, Beautiful Day Production, and has launched her new skincare range, MD Body.

In an Independent Media podcast, Minnie revealed that she will be starring in her first feature film in 2020, which she will also be co-producing.

“It is in the development stages at the moment, but I will be starring in my first feature film next year. What’s even more exciting is that I will be co-producing it. That’s what’s really cool. I am working with incredible females on this project. It’s pretty much a female produced movie, but I do not want to jump the gun,” said Dlamini-Jones.
