A popular ‘Skeem Saam’ actress has paid R500K in spousal support following her divorce from her ex-husband.

A former Skeem Saam actress and model is reported to have fotked out almost half a million in spousal support to her ex-husband.

This is according to Sunday World, who said the actress – who cannot be named – issued divorce summons against her husband last year after a few years of marriage.According to the publications, the actress had to pay R360 000 in spousal maintenance and R120 000 for her ex-lover’s furniture.


 

The former couple, who have no children together, made the agreement last year.

“In terms of cause 3 of the settlement agreement, the plaintiff agreed to pay the defendant a once-off spousal maintenance sum of R360 000 towards his accommodation.

“In terms of clause 4, the plaintiff agreed to pay the defendant the sum of R120000, towards his fur- niture and household necessities.

“The plaintiff has already complied with clause 3 and 4 of the divorce settlement agreement and made a total payment of R480000 to the defend- ant,” read the papers.
