Zakes B shares painful memory on late friend, DJ Budda

Taking to Instagram, the star shared how he lost lost his friend Sibusiso Manyandu known as DJ Budda through an horrible accident.

Zakes too was in the same accident but he was able to make it through but his friend on the other hand could not.

It was really a bad day for the star as they have worked closely with him.

The two have worked together in the past and they formed a record label along with a few other friends.

Zakes captioned: “Before money and jealous so-called friends divided us, we were one of the strongest labels to come out of Durban. Mayonie Productions paved the way for Durban Kwaito music/musicians. We lost our dear brother DJ Budda in an accident coming from a gig in Delmas.”

DJ Budda lost his life instantly while Zakes and L’vovo ended up in the hospital.

The tragic day broke Zakes’ heart and he still carries it with him even now.

“If I could advise my younger self I’ll say, do not ignore any signals and your inner voice cause I had a feeling we will split up but I didn’t believe it cause we were killing it and making a lot of money with number 1 albums. Budda I miss you, bro,”

Kelly Khumalo rips Enhle Mbali apart amid Black Coffee saga

With all that is going on with the Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa and Black Coffee saga, the issue of gender based violence has been a trending topic. Songstress Kelly Khumalo has added her thoughts to the conversation, and reprimanded women who tell others to “drink water” when abuse is evident in the relationship.

These sentiments are caused by the fact that Enhle told people to give them privacy to deal with their marital woes. Now, when she made her way to the Randburg magistrates court, people including her, were livid at how the media became silent about the ongoing battle.

Now, the Esiphambwaneni hitmaker has called out such women who are like Enhle for telling others to “drink water, and mind their own business.” She said that these women then want other people to get involved when things take a turn for the worst, whereas they told people to mind their own.

“You know this gender based violence is a problem and it’s affecting a lot of people. But now when should you get other people involved? What I have seen (with) the survivor of gender-based violence, when things are going rosy in the relationship, (you) don’t want people involved, ‘drink water, mind your own business’. OK, this is fine until you decide that you don’t want him. Now you don’t want us to drink water any more,” she stated.Kelly slammed the trend of wanting people to speak out about gender based violence only after they have left their abusive partners. She advised that people take the necessary steps which include going for counselling, and voicing out the abuse, whilst they are still inlove with them.

“I say you should still speak out, even if you want him and still want a relationship. Go for counselling, do something while still in the relationship. Don’t just speak out when you have had enough of him,” she concluded.

Not everybody was pleased with her statements reminding her that she too suffered abuse but kept it to herself. Among some of the opposing words shared by her followers, this one hit hardest:Yesterday, Enhle released a statement saying the abuse had gone on for a period of 5 years and it would often happen in the presence of their boys. The last (5) years have been filled with agony and my children have been the unfortunate witnesses to these incidents of abuse in our home.

The abuse caused her to be depressed as he would allegedly abuse her emotionally, physically, financially and she would then admit herself at a facility. “I have within the marriage…endured gaslighting, emotional, verbal abuse, physical abuse and financial abuse at his behest. The extent of the turmoil I experienced in the marriage as a result of the abuse and the extra marital affairs were so severe that I was admitted into a facility and was treated for depression.”

John Vuli Gate girls strike again with another banger

It looks like the John Vuli gate girls are back and this time they have dropped a video of them dancing in a local restaurant. One thing they make sure of is dancing in very revealing clothes and Mzansi reacts to the video.
Others are pleased with the video to commend their hustling during these hard times. Some are more interested in their dressing and are only wishing for the ladies to show a little bit more than they are clothes are revealing.Commenting on social media their fans say:

“This girl is wearing an “Apple Smart Skirt”It is programmed in such a way that it pretends to want to show some cheeks but it doesn’t.”

“These girls are a true definition of “amaphanta” (hustlers) . Even when the whole nation has forgotten about them they still trying to go viral by any means”

“SA is lit.. We have strippers in restaurants.. I’m never leaving this country”However, some are not really impressed with the video and think they should practice their dancing. Others oppose saying the ladies are seeking for attention too much. Many think that they should not base their popularity on wearing such revealing clothes and just try to dance without showing assets in public.

Other critics are saying things like:

“What are they doing this is not a comeback”

“Kamo Mphela must take them for dancing sessions haai ku bad.”

The last time these ladies did so well and they were invited to perform and dance to the John Vuli Gate track. However, it did not go so well as people expected more dance moves from them and more entertainment.

Hopefully this time they have a lot more under their sleeves so that they do not disappoint their fans because once the fans give up on them it will be bad for their popularity.
