Lamiez Holworthy opens up about the struggles of being a working mom

“Woke up missing my bump. I, however, don’t like that I’m still struggling with some of the not so nice changes that came with pregnancy. Mainly? The hyperpigmentation — my neck, under my arms and inner thighs are still so much darker than the rest of my body.”

In her mentions other mommies shared their experiences and assured the first-time mom that it takes time to bounce back.

”It takes 36 months to fully recover from a pregnancy. You are gorgeous, momma,” replied one.

”I can relate. A year later still find it hard to recognise myself in the mirror because of the physical and emotional changes. However, I look at my lil’ one and realise I went through/still going through this phase because of my God-given super power to bring life to this earth,” said another.Reflecting on going back to work after giving birth, Lamiez said she was juggling a lot but the love and support she has received have helped.

“First week fully back at work and I can’t explain all the emotions I’ve gone through — from the little mommy guilt that comes with leaving your little one behind to the hunger that comes with wanting to go extra harder just for him. Then there’s your body having to adapt or learn to push through the crazy hours all over again and still give every gig your all. I then look at all the love I’ve received at each and every one and it makes it all a little easier,” she wrote.

Lamiez recently shared an emotional clip of her giving birth to her baby via C-section.

“Seeing how much joy he’s brought to all our loved ones warms my heart. This little guy really is my biggest blessing to date. My biggest flex. And just like that, I met the biggest part of me. My son Leano Zion Morule and nothing and no-one else mattered,” she posted

Late DJ Sumbody’s mother dragged to the courts again

DJ Sumbody’s estate woes counties, barely a year after his untimely death. His partner Kagiso Setsetse is topping trends after he dragged Sumbody’s mother, Violet Sefoka to the courts over a R2 million Porsche Carrera. No doubt the two have been making all sorts of headlines for the wrong reasons, from dragging each other to the courts to barring each other out of Ayepyep.

Kagiso Setsetse dragged Sumbody’s mother to the courts over a R2 million Porsche Carrera. Setsetse reportedly approached the Johannesburg High Court on 21 November 2023, demanding an R2 million Porsche, which is said to be in the hands of Sumbody’s mother.

In his affidavit, he mentioned that DJ Sumbody’s mother failed to respond to written demands to return the lush sports car.

The case comes a few months after DJ Sumbody’s family obtained a 50% stake at the Ayepyep in Cape Town. Setsetse and Sefoka were at loggerheads over the control and management of the Cape Town joint. Their difference saw them turning to the courts.

However, against the court woes, Violet Sefoka has yet to respond to the affidavit from Setsetse.Part of the affidavit reads: “In terms of the vehicle agreement with the company, Ayepyep Lifestyle is obliged to keep the goods in its possession and control and not sell them. I therefore instructed my attorneys to draft a letter to Violet Sefoka … for the property to be returned.”

No doubt DJ Sumbody’s mother has had a fallout with Setsetse in the backdrop of his death. Their woes saw Ayepyep Cape Town being closed in August. It closed down in the backdrop of a messy alleged scandal that implicated the 28s gang leader Ralph Stanfield.

A few months ago, the club revealed that it was opening its doors after being temporarily closed. Against the backdrop of DJ Sumbody’s death, Setsetse has accused the late muso of looting their establishment.
