Rebecca Malope is an internationally renowned South African gospel singer . She is talented and embracing woman who is working very hard to achieve her goals and have a brighter future. She is ambitious and she has a sense of humor and personality. She rose to stardom in the 90’s . She is also as The African Queen of Gospel and her music career spans more than three decades. She was born on 30th June 1968 in Lekazi in the Mpumalanga Province. She was confined to a wheelchair after an illness in her early age, and she believed she would be unable to walk again.
She used to sing hymns in their local church alongside her sisters. She began her musical career in 1984 . She was brought to the attention of producer Sisiwe Zakho of Gallo Studios. She is intelligent and independent woman who values her life and is gifted and successful. She is a God fearing woman and always looks out for other people especially youth from disadvantages communities . She is loving and caring person and she is one of the most loved gospel singer in the country and beyond. She won Shell Road to Fame in the category of Female Vocalist with the gospel song Shine On.
She released her debut album Sthembile Kuwe and following her success in 1993 she released Ngiyekeleni followed by Umoya Wam . She received an honorary doctorate from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and University of California for her contribution to the music industry. Apart from being famous, she is a wife of a businessman Themba Tshabalala. On her recent post on social media account she left fans gobsmacked with her recent post.
