Details on the production
The series is produced by Isitha: The Enemy producers Black Brain Pictures, with Mandla N. and Mpumelelo Nhlapo at the helm, and will be introduced in a unique way.It’s going to be preceded by a 13-episode miniseries titled Re-Imagine Destiny about the production’s search for newcomers.

The show held open auditions in Limpopo, Gauteng, KZN, and the Eastern Cape, and the miniseries follows this process and the actors who were discovered.

Renowned South African DJ Black Coffee recently celebrated his birthday, and to commemorate this special occasion, his friends and family got together to celebrate him at a star-studded black-tie dinner.

Among the attendees was South African rapper Cassper Nyovest.

“We came together to celebrate the life of our brother and inspiration BLACK COFFEE!!! We love COFFLA!!! expressed Cassper.Back in January of this year, the talented Black Coffee, was involved in a serious travel accident while on a flight to his show in Mar Del Plata. The incident left him with some injuries, as he shared in a statement on his social media.


 

 

 

 

 

Black Coffee opened up about the accident for the first time during an interview on My Top 10 at 10 with Tbose. “I literally saw my life flashing; that was the most painful thing about the accident,” he told Tbose. “It wasn’t so quick, and I woke up in the hospital. It happened for like a minute, giving me time to think. I had time to pray while it was happening.”

The incident occurred during his tour of South America. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he had to change airlines for this specific trip. “It looked old, like no one had been using it. I felt uneasy,” Black Coffee explained.

The pilot made an emergency landing in Uruguay, where Black Coffee underwent a 5-hour surgery to repair his upper spinal cord, which was damaged in the incident.
