Should a woman bring a man with her to buy a new car

Woman and man have nothing to do with it. If you are knowledgeable about cars in general, confident you can handle price negotiations and dickering, then there’s no reason not to do it yourself. If you feel better with someone else along, perhaps someone who knows more or is better at some aspects, then bring them. Gender is irrelevant.

Oh and by the way… If you don’t like the games, and don’t want to take the major depreciation when you drive it off the lot, try CarMax. I’ve done 5 vehicles with them now. Recommended.

I often bring my husband along when I take the car in for mechanic work, even though I know more about cars than he does. I think it cuts down on the tendency of certain mechanics and technicians to try to find themselves extra work to do on things that may not need immediate attention. I do think I’ve found a mechanic who doesn’t play such games, but there’s going to be the occasional other visit to get smog done, tires changed, or other specific things.

As for buying cars, I’ve only done that once or twice. I will definitely bring my husband when test-driving, because a key consideration is whether our two very differently proportioned persons will fit in a given car and be able to see and reach everything.

When I shopped for my current car (which I bought new, but years ago now), we knew another couple who was also shopping for a car at the time, and we went as a group, the four of us.

We didn’t tell the salesperson a lot about exactly who was buying the car, or even who was married to whom. It changed the dynamic considerably. It also meant we got the report from the back seat in every vehicle we tried. I don’t think there needs to be a man involved to get that sort of result. Any group of two or more friends could go test drive cars.

The other thing I’d strongly suggest is separating the test driving process from the buying process. You can tell the salesperson on the way in that you’re still deciding and will not be buying a car on the day of the test drive. If you’re planning to buy the car with a loan, get approved for that loan separately through a credit union or bank, and then negotiate for the car on price rather than monthly payment. (If the dealer can offer a better interest rate than the credit union, go for it.) Figure out exactly what you want, find out the availability online as well as the MSRP and invoice prices, and then ask for the best price by phone or email from multiple dealerships in the area. You can travel to someplace an hour away if it saves you a couple grand, and invite a friend out to dinner in exchange for helping you out. If you can contact the internet or fleet salesperson, you can often bypass a lot of the sales floor

Idols SA star Mr Music survives horrific car accident

Former Idols SA star Lungisani Mthethwa famously known as Mr Music, is grateful for a second chance at life after a bad car accident.

The celebrated musician travelled from Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, to Johannesburg on October 31 with his brothers when he got involved in a car crash.

Recalling the experience, the singer said he was stationary at the traffic lights waiting on the green light when a truck driver, who he claims were drunk, smashed into the side of his car and attempted to run away.

Talking to News reporters, Mr Music said:

“The truck came out of nowhere, I tried to even chase after him since my car was in the ignition and he was trying to run away. It was smelling of fuel, but I wanted to know who is doing this to me. The left front tyre got off but we survived. We’re alive. To God, be the glory. I’m grateful to be alive,”

Luckily, no one was injured, and everyone in his care came alive. People who witnessed the accident assumed someone would die or have serious injuries, but God’s favour decided otherwise.

“Thank God I’m OK, I don’t know how I survived that but my brothers and I are fine.”

Mr Music said he wanted the other driver to pay for the damage caused to their vehicle. However, he decided to forgive the reckless driver and move on with his life. He’s now bonding with his family and focusing on making new music. He is happy that he survived the accident and promised his fans he would drop new music in 2023.

I want to be home and be fine spending time with my family, and I have free time to write some more music because when I’m sad and down, I take time to write more music for my people,”

Speaking about what he has in the pipeline, Mr Music said he had big plans for 2023 to show his fans a different side of him.

“My fans should expect something new from me, there’s a chapter that I need to unlock on my side, I think people only know the music side of me but there’s more. Even though I will still be making music, there’s just more they will see from me in the coming year.”

Veteran actress Connie Ferguson ‘Harriet Khoza’ wraps The Queen show with some dance moves alongside fellow actor Nkosiyabo ‘Craig Nobela’. It was a wonderful evening with everyone from Ferguson films present. It was all open, and everyone had a chance to express how much they felt about the situation. The cast members and crew all bid farewell to each other after around five years together. What a wonderful family they had formed over the years. Indeed, everyone deserved a celebration and a grand farewell.

Like they always did during their days on The Queen, Connie Ferguson and Craig Nobela showed Mzansi that they were wrapping the show on a high note. Since Nkosiyabo joined The Queen, he had been aunt’s boy both on and off the screen. The two had been buddies,s and had the best memories together; now they were saying goodbye to each other. Like in the old days, Nkosiyabo and his aunt had to pull off impressive dance moves that impressed fans. Indeed, this may be the last time we watch Connie dancing with Craig.

Connie, Craig, Brutus ‘Themba Ndaba’, and others produced the famous Chop my money dance moved a few months ago. These actors had created a solid relationship that made them more of a family than workmates. On Sunday, The Queen family throw an expensive all-white party as they bid farewell to each other. Producers were all there, and the caterers and the camera team were all present. A few notable absentees like Brutus and Goodness ‘Zenande Mfenyana’ have already found new jobs.

It seemed like Nkosiyabo had been teaching her aunt one last dance. They produced Amapiano’s famous moves that go by backpedalling before jumping to the front. They did well before Connie couldn’t help it anymore. She laughed, and that was the end of the show.

Zweli’ Hlomla Dandala opens up on the dramatic exit

The celebrated actor finally opens up. The River actor ’Zweli’ Hlomla Dandala opens up on the dramatic exit. With an illustrious career, Hlomla Dandala dumped The River in the eleventh hour and Mzansi was more than puzzled. In the drama series, he starred as Zweli Dikana. It came as a shocker, given that he was one of the lead actors who quickly became the drama series’ most loved on-screen character. He has been dupped as the goddess of small screens, and his unmatched acting flair has seen him winning big.

His exit from the drama series saw a mass exodus of the other three lead actors. It seems as if The River has some woes yet to spilt in public. Many have it that it might contract woes. Dandala has opened up about his exit from The River for the first time after his dramatic exit. Speaking to Newzroom Afrika said that it was time. In the mix of things, he revealed that what tends to happen with any career is that if you stay for too long, it becomes difficult to “pivot away from it.”

“If you have established yourself as a leading man and you play something that establishes you as being quite weaker and you don’t get out of it fast enough, it gets harder and harder over time.”

Mzansi is puzzled as The River actor ’Zweli’ Hlomla Dandala opens up on exit
What came as a shocker was the fact that. At first, he was happy with the character, but as seasons passed, he outgrew it. In the mix of things, he thought about managing his career, which seemingly led to his exit.

On the other hand, Mzansi has lashed out at the showrunner’s ever-changing storylines and plots that led to the drama series’ fall.

“And part of that is I don’t want to be locked in a situation that I don’t want to be in. It starts to damage your future as an actor.”

However, of interest is the fact that he bowed out of the drama series in good books with the showrunners. Rumour mill has it that the actor and producers were generous enough to understand his predicament. Hlomla Dandala adds that this is the “natural evolution of any show.”

“They were stuck between a rock and a hard place in that the structure of the show requires that it requires that one is duped and the other is duping.”
